there is no
limit as the header_tile.gof will allow you to go across. so take as much
as the page will let you

Yea, but I wanted it to fill out all the space so that I wouldn't have
the blank logo trying to fill out the space not taken up by the banner.
After some trial and error I found it to be 750 pixels.
