BBMods is a BBS Modification site. BBS stands for Bulletin Board System, and it's the sort of thing you're looking at right now. There are many BBS's on the internet these days, and each has its own feature set. Invision Power Board, vBulletin, ikonBoard, phpBB2, YaBB SE, the list goes on and on and on. However, for many people, there's some feature they'd love to see that none of these boards, or perhaps just the one they like the most, have.
That's where we come in. Our team of modders is here to create the features you really want for your favorite BBS's. Our talented programmers that work currently in both php and Perl, the only two languages any good message boards are programmed in anyway, have the skills and knowledge to create almost any feature under the sun.
This is not, however, a free service. Due to the complex work involved as well as hosting costs, we charge a fee for each modification done. How much? There is no one set price, because each mod differs in size and complexity. Your modder will set a price based on the size and complexity of the mod that you have outlined, and details may be worked out from there. Prices could go anywhere from $5 to a simple addition to $100 or more for a full-fledged module complete with skinfile and SSI integration. We try to keep it as reasonable as possible.
Almost everyone can think of at least one feature that their board could use that it doesn't currently have. It might be something as huge as a custom post rating system complete with ability to turn off voting for certain user groups, resetting ranks by moderators, and nice graphical displays, or perhaps something as simple as turning signatures or avatars on and off on a per-forum basis (a feature which IPB, sadly, lacks). That's why we're here: we create the features you really want to make the boards you love into the boards you dream about.

there is a new skin on bbmods and i would like you all to check it out and let me know what you think. i am open to all comments, and there are a few areas that need skinning, but i would like to know what you think.
