Ok,
you have been on the database & have downloaded a skin for use on your board & want to know how to install the skin, well follow the instructions listed below & so long as safemode isnt activated on your host you will have a board with a new skin in no time... ...
The skin you have downloaded is in a zipped format so you will need to get the file you have downloaded from the database & unzip it.
When you have unzipped the file you will have two files, a readme file & another zip file eg: Set-skinname.TAR. This zip file needs to be left as it is (THIS IS YOUR SKIN FILE TO UPLOAD).
You need to upload the zipped file into the Archive_in folder on your host.
Before trying to then install the skin please make sure you CHMOD THE Archive_in, Skins & Style_Images folders to 777.
when you have done this you will now need to go to your board, go into the Admin Control Panel into the skins & templates section.
When in this section click on 'Import Skin files' & all being well the skin that you added into the Archive_In folder will be showing to be imported in there.
