Want Mac Look On Windows ?

This post is dedicated for all you windows users that wish to make your PeeCee look like a Mac. From the themes, to sounds and to desktop pics.

So if you, like me and love the MAC OSX and os look this topic will keep you busy downloading like mad, and customizing the whole look and feel of your computer.

The first thing you need is a theme manager, now you can either use a program called STYLE XP, or its baby brother patch called uxtheme, now uxtheme only works if your using xp with sp1 installed, but its free.

So first of get the style xp from http://www.tgtsoft.com (http://www.tgtsoft.com/prod_sxp.php)

This is a free download for a trail version.

Once you have this you able to then download the themes from the other sites I shall be adding to this topic.

Also there is Window blinds, this is also another theme application for windows, it is a good one, but i find not as many sites around for this that do mac skins. http://www.windowblinds.net/

How to make a pc into a Mac, OS 7.x - 8.1, this uses a Mac rom to do this, not yet tried by myself, but comes highly spoken about, only gives you the old Mac look thou.

To add that nice touch of shadow to the look for a true Mac feel use this application, this adds a shadow effect around all the windows on the screen, including ones you open. You can edit the size of the shadows if you like to Mac it more and what angles, this is a cool app.

Y'z Toolbar is enhancement software which allows the user to change the toolbar icons in Explorer and Internet Explorer. The user can also create and add their own themes.

also search for talisman on google. YOu can get a free trial but the full version costs money but its worth every penney. You can make your desktop, menues etc. literaly any way you want. There are no limits to what you can do with the program and its just amazing.

Y'z Dock development stopped by Apple cease and desist order.

M. Yamaguchi, now uses a Mac and will never continue development of Y'z Dock.
