Where Does My Sig Go...........

Well this section is for all rants and rave, so I ranting about ibplanet.. :P

I have a nice sig, I add it to there site, and then it is removed, now I ask myself why.........

Well the reply is read the rules for the forum, not competing sites allowed, so now I am left with a harsh taste in my mouth, we are all here for the same reason are we not, to help promote and help skin forums ?

Please do correct me if I am wrong here............


Well as some others also used the same NBS sig as we all staff, they decided to just ban the word NBSdesignz. Therefore, this leaves us all not able to show our work, or use a sig hosting at this account anymore.
This feels very petty to me, like fine I understand spamming, not have sigs to spam, and so on, but I questions is why not ask first to remove it, this now leaves us finding a new host for images to be located from, so we can at least have a new sig.

The funny part is that when you do type nbsdesignz, its replaces it with nowhere

Hmmm LMAO, now that is just an understatement, I mean do you people over there feel threatened by us.
Maybe you just dislike people trying to help make skins, I mean they ARE the official board for IPS skins and so on for mods, but pushing away fellow skinning sites are really pushing away ppl from IPS.

But then again what feels more personal to me is that other staffs there do run skinning sites to, so that means that it is become one rule for staff, one for members, and one for NBSdesignz.

please try to make it fair for all people, at the end of the day you are only hurting IPS by not letting people see what can be made, skins should be welcome every where, and also honest reviews.

Yes I totally understand reasons why you may do this to this site, but at least do let us know before jumping on high horse and stopping permission, Next I see a ban from myself, which then again shows how bad this is. We all want the same thing, so why not try to respond the same way a company would instead of doing what you do.

some point they are right, i only go there now for mods,not for skins anymore :P

yes, i see other member's sigs advertising their skin sites, but no-one removes their's. It is very obvious they are making a point to remove all to do with nbsdesignz. well after all, we wipe the floor with them :P so yes they are scared.

I am sure that all the online users came for ibresource. since their merge was possible done for that reason to make them appear popluar.

It is just a shame they still are unable to act like grownups.

Well i think IBplanet are going way over the top with this thing really, YES, they are scared of loosing members to us. YES, we do wipe the floor with them, so of course they be scared!

About what M3NF was saying before about them banning the word "NBSdesignz" in the sig thing, it is very true that it is only NBs and no other site, coz you will have seem my sig here, its the same over there, it has links to NBS, NewWaveSkinners and Chris-designs, yet only the links to NBS were changed, now i understand that NWS is now only for gfx, but surely as it has the word "skinners" in they are gonna think it is a skinning site and bad that as well, but it apears not, which did quite annoy me!

M3NF, why don't you invite the big cheese from ibplanet to a sencesible chat on IRC to try and sort out why they have a big problem with NBS and no other skinning site.
weather they fear us or not they shouldn't act like a spoilt brat throwing it's dummy out of the pram, after all arn't they spose to be grown up site and not a " no, i don't want to let you cos it's my forum" site.
god, i wish peaple would just grow up and stop acting like big babys.

Not yet. They are not interested in a diplomatic solution. I guess they enjoy fueding!. After all, it is always them causing the trouble. We defend what is right and fair!. For so many reasons that people have not seen. We are not and have never been trouble makers. Asking for one set of rules and that if one mod says one thing, that they tell all what they did/said. So their mods being at fault. not us! They need to train their staff to communicate with eachother. lol

I have been in communication with someone there, and they are going to discuss in their private area. Interesting to see the outcome, but i expect nothing. Perhaps in a few years when they starting growing their body parts and extra hair LMAO :P

It is disapointing when we find out that they change there rules to suit, this si not what one exspects from a company image, they do have one set of rules for one and another for others, thou i shall say, we are at fault at times, but posting our link, which is agreed agaist rules on there site, but in order to help members that request it, i see no reason why that should not be allowed. In general the site is there to help, and that is what we try to do.

I would agree more is all we did was post there about our site but i for one do post in other section where no link to our site would be provided.

And i got to say, why not link, if someone asks for help on a mnual install, why not link to that post, instead of writing the whole post again ?

I guess we all see things very different, but we when try to resolve these issues, we get just a ...... blank, no reply, no help, and thats alone shows what they do to ppl that try to help.
