All I can say is, Windows Longhorn looks pretty much like crap, pardon, if
you ask me. I think that all it is is a lower-quality version, kind of
spiffed up version of Windows XP, which looks a whole lot better. I'm
sorry if I offend anyone, but I think Longhorn looks pretty crappy.

kinda yes and no, if it performs better than i am all for it, as for looks
na i not bother i never use a standard look, i always goto getskinned to
get my daily update in nice themes. But i am intrested in its performance
thou.

LOL love it.
PLease remember though the early days of Windows XP,
when it was called Whistler.
It was just a slightly improved Windows
2000 and then it all changed when it got to the Beta stages.
This is
the same, Im running the ALPHA on a test machine and its running loverly,
admittedly it is just a tweaked version of XP at the moment, but the beta
build is hopefully going to be released within the next couple of weeks
and I would advise waiting till then before downloading.
I must admit
though some of the tweaks so far that might not even make it to the final
version are pretty nice and it runs just as smoothly as XP does.
I cant
wait for the Beta version to hit the net.

Windows Longhorn Build 3700 is being leaked tonight.
Havent heard
if its the first Beta release or another Alpha yet though.

I would have thought it will be another alpha because my soruce(allways
wonted to say that) says that it wont be ready for BETA testing till early
to mid 2003!

Yeah, i'm thinking it has to be Alpha but my source (SNAP, I always
wanted to say that as well) said that the Beta release was build 3712, the
one being leaked in a couple of hours is just 3700
