Well seeing as there are more and more Viruses springing up now I thought it might be an idea to have a few of the sites added to here explaining a little more about the viruses about n also how to remove them from your system if you are unfortunate enough to get one on your system.

PCHell (http://www.pchell.com) this is a rgeat little site for finding uot about what viruses are out there lurking about & also gives you very easy to follow steps to remove a virus if you are unfortunatly caught out with one on your system.

Symantec. (http://www.symantec.com) Another great resource for finding out more about the viruses out there.

Trend (http://www.trendmicro.com/en/home/global/enterprise.htm) some more information on here also with a link to thier online free virus scan as well.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Antivirus Software links.

AVG antivirus (http://www.grisoft.com/us/us_index.php) this site has a great free version of thier software but also allows for you to purchase a licence for it as well.

Free Online Scan (http://housecall.trendmicro.com/) this si the Trend Housecall, free online virus scan for your system.

FREE-AV (http://www.free-av.com/) yet another free version.

And a good page to visit, to find out how to REMOVE The MSBlaster Virus if you have it, is Freeserve Help (http://www.freeserve.com/help/servicestatus.htm?linkfrom=Today&link=sub2_headline&article=TODhelpwindows_security_pm) this page tells you how to find out if you have the virus, and how to remove it.

Staying on the MSBlaster theme, if you goto the good old Microsoft.com (http://www.microsoft.com) you can download the Patch for your OS.

Hope these Help

Oh just to make sure you get the right patch if your using Windows XP Home Edition you must get the 32 bit patch.
And for XP Pro Edition you should try both. (XP Pro was manufactured with both 32 bit and 64 bit kernals)
