The
transparent, and also Green jelly one on the link given was giving error
codes when I maunally imported it.

Could not fetch the templates
from the database. Template skin_ucp, ID 24(in ID, it shows up
different numbers for each different skin. manually importing doesnt work
with these SPECIFIC ones.)

This is the error i Get when I want to
change my skin from my control center, not the admin cp. When I select it
and press preview, it works perfectly, but when I press submit, it says
the above error. Is there any way to resolve it? I am using safe mode, my
forum is at target='_blank'>www.myols.com/~PCGameweb/forum (http://www.myols.com/~PCGameweb/forum/) I have 4.2.2 php.
Is there any help? oh, i also changed the template names from my admin cp,
but the other skins work. How DO I set it? I installed this skin MANUALLY.
I have safe mode.

I went to the board in this link, i provided, it
works great(it needs to login before you can see the board, but i used
cookies). But I think this problem is caused by session ids, in the urls
when they change the skins. Anyway to help?also, when i click on the main
categories, it gives me a session id url, but the skins still work, but
when I press DIRECTLY on the post title to goin and see, it DOES NOT WORK.

I changed the names because I
wanted to know what they are for, cause in default, I upload it, and it
says "new template (upload:4325325)" or something like that for others,
and I have many skins, I acttually have four skins, I cannot read what it
belongs to, it mixes me up. I can reinstall the skins, I cannot rename it
back to the default as I have already forgotton.

PS: if you can
give me a way to see which upload is the most recent uploaded(upload
id:something here.) I can work it out this way, and i do not have to
change the names then.

above, which ones names CAN be changed?
and which ones
cannot?
which one is best left unchanged?

because all of my
others skins name has been changed and it all works, only this specific
one wouldnt, would you think it is because of my skins? or is it because I
uploaded something wrong et cet.?

I forgot to finish the title, it is "gets error when importing specific

The first thing is never change the template details, for one the template
is copyrighted to us, and changing the details is removing out copyright,
also the template is a very temp part of the board, by change one thing on
there can cause errors everywhere, and some things error like unable to
send email, as shown in other posts here.

I would advice to start
with delete the skin and use the standard skin.

Then re import the
skin you downloaded, and try a fresh, then if no luck goto your acp, and
then click manage skins and templates then click manage skins, click edit
next to the skin you have manualy imported and click template and then
change the template back to invision board standard, but do not remove any
details.

Also if your using a portal depending on what portal you
need to make sure that the skins_site.php or the other skin_portal is
place with the skin folder.

If not luck remove the skin and come
back to us, and if you give as admin we can do it for you as a last
resort.

yes, i did NOT change the details, only the names so you know, because
when i upload it manually, it says name as "new template
(upload:145552)". And second, what do you mean the details? the code, or
the four fields i have to fill out? Cause I did not change anything there.

however, only specific skins get that problem. I will try out your method
which is posted here. and will reply back the results.

Is there any way I can get the solution, and the
board is in safe mode, php 4.2.2, my board is here, How can I get rid of
this? and yes, the board is using a custom skin which name is crystal and

ALSO, if see you see, in another post here, I am
planning to reinstall the skin like M3NF said. So if the solution is to
reinstall the skin, please let me know, but, this skin worked perfectly
fine for a week now, it just started showing up today.

ok i not sure if you have a portal or not, but if you have no access to
the board goto your admin and swap the skin over from default and then
change all user using the skin to another, at least that way you can still
use forum, also have you added any mods to the board, as once the skin is
working there is very little way is will stop without someone changing
some setting.
Try to think what has been change since it stop working.
If you need more help let us know, like i said we can come over to your
site if you make us admin and we can try for you.

actually, uh, I tried switching defualt skins to normal invisionboard, but
it still shows the erorr, so now i know it is effecting all
skins.

ok, but one more thing, in S27, there ARE NO files, why is
that? and there was NO S27, I had to make it, and on top of that, all my
other folders that start with "s#" were in lower case, my ftp does not
force lowercase neither does my server. . I tried switching to
invisionboard defualt skin, but the erorr stays there. any solutions,
ideas? AND LIKE THIS, I do not know what to upload!

since i have more then two skins.and for function.php, do i need to
reupload it?

Ok its sounds like something has change to the forum, not the skins, has
anyone else got access to your host, again have you tried changing any
files there or added any mod to your board, if so remove them, also check
inside the root folder you see two files.

One called
"conf_global.php" and the other called
"conf_global-bak.php"

Now make sure you have both of
these

If you have then delete "conf_global.php"

and then
rename "conf_global-bak.php" to "conf_global.php"

If not then i
am a little stuck myself, maybe you may need to backup your database and
reinstall invision itself.
