Am I Missing Something?

Every skin I've downloaded is missing its config.php file.. and the invision board doesn't accept them because of it.. :o

You are probably either:

using invisionboard 1.0.1, or
uploading the .zip to your archive_in folder instead of unpacking it to get the .tar out

If that is not the case we'll help you further

I am using 1.0.1 and am getting the same error. I did take the tar out though. Can you enlighten me as what the problem is? I assume it's 1.0.1 like you said, what is the solution? I just got it today straight off the site.

Just as an update, it's working fine now, I had to upgrade to V1.1 B4.

The reason it doesn't work on 1.0.1, is the skinning engine is different. And therefore not compatible.

sorry yes there is, in the file you download there is a html file that explain the process to upgrade to 1.1 beta 4 without any loss of posts or members. Thou i always recommenf a back up before starting just incase
