I am hooked on playing Carmageddon 1 & 2 along with getting caned at Quake II on the lappy during the day with the rest of the techs here all networked up :(

I have been playing hitman II but not over keen on it, I love Command & Conquer - Renegade & sit there playing that til the early hours.

& latest game I have started to play is No One Lives Forever II.

Yep, one of the lads brings an 8port hub in and everyone linked up on the lappy's and have a great laff while answering Tech Support calls.

Along with playing Carmageddon & GTA across the network. ;))

At the comp I play with emulators (SNES, GB, NEO?GEO)... the last game I acquired was Demo World - The Legend Continues, a patch for Super Mario World that breaks the mythic 96 level limit...

In consoles, I only have a SNES... not too much to say :(

Generally speaking, I like fighting games (Street Fighter, KOF...), puzzle (Puyo Puyo, Puzzle Bobble...), platforms (SMW, Megaman...), racing (Gran Turismo 3, OutRun...), RPGs (Super Mario RPG, Seiken Densetsu, Final Fantasy...), "graphic adventure" games (Gabriel Knight, Legend of Kyrandia...) and the mighty StepMania

Do a favor to yourself, Wam, buy a new computer. Or at least a second hand one. I mean, it doesn't cost that much. :P

Just brows the internet for the price details (Sorry I don't have any non-french site in my favorite). For an example, and for an amount of about 600 Euros (almost the same in US dollars and the Sterling is about 1,4 Euros), I think, you may buy at least: an Athlon XP 2400+
the mother-board which should fit with (Abit or Asus)
a 120 Go Hard drive w/ 8Mo cache
a nice sound card
a video card with 128Mb (i/e an ATI 9600 series or a NVIDIA FX 5600 series)
those two are compatible with directX 9+
512 Mb of Ram (DDR type)
and maybe a new keyboard and a new mouse
a CD-writer (52-32-52)
a DVD player
So yes It cost, but this is quite nothing compared to the time you may save working on your brand new PC. :lol:

And build it yourself, it cost less and you will improve your knowledge - useful if by any "chance" it brakes down.


And by the way, my actual favorite game is : Mario Kart on Nitendo 64. Never been beaten on the long run. But I'm missing the long hours of training. :lloyd:
