(using resolution 640 x 480) It came after the pc came back from being fixed :( Ash 28-Oct-2003, 10:55 PM Originally posted by EdG@Oct 28 03, 10:24 PM btw does anyone know why there's a red line up the left side of my screen in games? Matt 29-Oct-2003, 02:46 AM Originally posted by M3NF@Oct 20 03, 11:58 PM 1600x1200 :) i like to get more on me screen so i can get more work done hehe. how can you read that small stuff... 1600x1200 is the max my other monitor can go and that tiny! i prefer 1024x768 all da way ^_^ EdG 29-Oct-2003, 08:52 PM Hi Ash! Dammit, whenever I take a screenshot the line isnt there. It must be something to do with the monitor I suppose :( Though it seems strange that sometimes the line disappears and if I move the screen position with the monitor controls the line moves with it. So I was thinking it must be the graphics card. Wan 03-Nov-2003, 11:47 PM Due to system limitations I can only go up to 800x600 if I want to enjoy 16bpp mode, otherwise I get the annoying 256 colors :( EdG 04-Nov-2003, 10:07 PM Anyone have any ideas why the line's there on my screen in games? I have contacted the support for the pc but they just said to reinstall the graphics card drivers after removing them...it didn't work. I've replied to that though and I'm waiting for a response. Seanvio 12-Nov-2003, 04:08 AM Well, I'm on 1024x768 on a 13.1" laptop screen, and I wouldn't go any bigger on this size screen, but, personally, I can read small stuff. I actually prefer everything to be small and organized. I've also got a desktop with a 17" viewable CRT which I run at 1024x768 and everything's just too big. I'd really like a 19" viewable monitor on 1600x1200, but I guess you can't have everything. <_< Matt 29-Nov-2003, 05:24 PM i use 1154x768 or something like that now... AjRap2 30-Nov-2003, 05:40 AM If you not sure of your screen resolution just click here (http://216.10.20.4/~ajrap2/screen_res.html) for it :) Coming up with all sorts of stuff now.
