Your Current Resolution

Well, I run at 1024 x 768 when I only have my first monitor on. Which is most of the time.

well i woudl like to run a 1024x768 but my parents wouldnt be able to see it. hehe I think im talking right 1024 is small isnt it? well my mom would, but my dad wouldnt, i personally like 1024x768, my computer actually i think runs better in it. you get more out of your screen hehe. I like it , My dad doesnt, i dont know bout my sister, or my mom.

im on the same running 1024x768 on my 15" TFT monitor its lurrvlly :P

My mother (bless her heart) uses 800x600, but only because she wouldn't know how to change it if her life depended on it hehehe

My hubby and I both use 1024x768 and thats perfect to use on 19 & 21 inch monitors

I use 1024 x 768 on a 17" monitor (family pc), though max is 1600 x 1200 it'd be a bit small :)
Though I do use 1600 x 1200 in some games!

btw does anyone know why there's a red line up the left side of my screen in games? (using resolution 640 x 480) It came after the pc came back from being fixed :(

1600x1200 is the max my other monitor can go and that tiny!

Hi Ash!

Dammit, whenever I take a screenshot the line isnt there. It must be something to do with the monitor I suppose :(

Though it seems strange that sometimes the line disappears and if I move the screen position with the monitor controls the line moves with it. So I was thinking it must be the graphics card.

Due to system limitations I can only go up to 800x600 if I want to enjoy 16bpp mode, otherwise I get the annoying 256 colors :(

Anyone have any ideas why the line's there on my screen in games? I have contacted the support for the pc but they just said to reinstall the graphics card drivers after removing them...it didn't work. I've replied to that though and I'm waiting for a response.

Well, I'm on 1024x768 on a 13.1" laptop screen, and I wouldn't go any bigger on this size screen, but, personally, I can read small stuff. I actually prefer everything to be small and organized. I've also got a desktop with a 17" viewable CRT which I run at 1024x768 and everything's just too big. I'd really like a 19" viewable monitor on 1600x1200, but I guess you can't have everything. <_<

Nice, i need to get a new computer all together, i think i might buy one with a tower. a flat panel LED that would be nice. i tihnk im going to going to do that.

1400x1050....but as far as actual space goes, multiply that by 4, thanks to GNOME's quad-desktop loveliness. ;)

I love that feature in GNOME, so I used Tweak XP to enable Virtual Desktops :D

I didn't mind 800x600 in Win 9x but in Windows XP it seems all so blurry and takes up half the screen for the start menu ;)
