AOL is now beta testing its newest and improved edition of AOL.......
New functionality includes......
AOLDialer - Connects you to AOL without opening the AOL interface......works great if I may say so myself, seems since the AOL software isn't open all runs quite faster :)
More SuperBuddies - More of the animated, interacting Buddy Icons. There are many varieties to choose from.
Animated smilies - AOL is now well on its way to animating it's smily sets one step at a time.
Improved Mailbox - Speaks for itself.
Improved AOL Mediaplayer - Powered by the popular WinAMP
I will keep you updated as the new versions continue to roll forward :)

LOL, is that a retorical question?
[Retorical question - A question asked that isn't really meant to be answered]
I personally hate AOL - I think they are evil as they force you to use their software on your computer just to connect to them and impose many restrictions form what I have seen.
(therefore I will now refer to them as the commonly known name AOHELL)
I don't have AOLHELL but a friend of mine is forced to use it because his mum likes it, lol....trouble is he has finally got rid of windows from his pc and installed linux and now his mum is allowing him to have the net in his room; but he would have to use aol.
Does anyone know where I can find an aol version that will run on SuSE linux Professional 9.0? He cannot get it because the pc's he uses for the net do not have cd rewriters so he cannot get download stuff and transfer it easily, so he's asked me to try and find stuff for him.
I found some stuff online about using AOL 2.something but it doesn't allow internet access, just IM etc. I wondered about using WINE to allow use of the windows installer on linux but a site said that wouldn't work properly.
Please help if you can!

AOhell sucks, it's browser is weak and screws up alot of webpages, I wouldn't touch it if it was the only isp in the world. Come to think of it, the only thing worse is a mac running aol, that'd be like satan in computer form. And why would such a great program like winamp disgrace itself by being part of aol?
anyways thats my 2 cents, no offense to anyone who likes mac and aol.
As I have said above, I also hate aohell and have luckily never had to use it....I think it is possible to use wine, I'm going to download it for my friend, I thought that there was a program to run windows apps already installed with SuSE Professional 9.0, but he can't find it.
