Todays Is Mt Moaning Day

Well as aloot of you know that i finally got my new bike a few weeks, well a few days ago it would starting. The use of public transport is such a downer :( i phone up the local bike shop to get them to pick my bike up and see what was wrong with it.

I recived a call from them today saying that its looks like the starter motor was gone, and looking at 4 hours worth of work to check it out for sure. Costing 130 pounds.

So i said go ahead with it and then go a call back a few moments ago, its gonna cost me 316 for the starter motor and a extra 20-30 for new o-rings and lube for it.

So its now adding up to 500 for it :( May as much as i love my bikes, its really sometimes more hassle than there worth.

was there no warranty when you bought your bike or was it a private sale?

Well i had some good news at least now, i placed a add for the starter in partsmaster :) a bike trading place, got someone offering me the part second hand with a 3 month garenteen for 50 pounds :) so now gonna knock the cost by 250 savings :) be back to being a happy bunny again.

yes, it would have been about $850-$900 but now it's more like $450

Well may as well add to that, i got my bike now back, all seamed fine, then only get to ride her one day and i take her in for my alarm to be fitted, So now i feel so much better.

Next days goes to work, and she really not running right, gets home and there pertol pissing out from the carb. :( well once again i phone work and explain whats happened and first this this morning i take my bike back, screaming and shouting at them that i bring it in to get fixed, and comes out pissing petrol, Well not happy. Now i had half a day of work, getting stressed as its only been 3 days i been at this new branch, and its looking bad on me like i am unreliable now :(.

And they say it be ready and done by 1.00 today, now 12.15 and no news yet, i can see myself getting a bus, and train into work getting there 2.5 hours later and then getting home around 10pm tonight, and having to take more time of tomorrow to pick my bike up.
Man i shocked i not been sacked yet, thankfully i have a good area manager that understand, other wise i really dont know what i would do.

Now spent over 600 on getting the bike, 500 on getting her fixed, 300.00 on a alarm system so she safe at new branch, and now more to get carb done, with xmas round the corner, i think i gonna die :(

Well i did get my bike back just before 1pm, so they aleast got that right, but i was charged another 50.00 :( man i am skint, think i start a donation fund for my bike LMAO.

But the good news is, one way she was purring like a cat at 130mph :) sure had a smile on my face now.

WOOOOOHOOOOO speed is so fun, and with no cars around i just enjoyed the time, so much i missed my turning off the motorway and ended up have to add another 20 miles on my trip to get off at next junction and turn around. Oh well, even more time on my bike :)
