Im currently running at 735.5 kbps. Whats your connection speed?

392kpbs right now...but its the day time...I have Satellite internet, so it doesnt get up to the 800kpbs until nights :/

1832kbps is not real fast,its a regulair speed for cable/dsl..

if you think in some countries download speeds up to 10Mbps are common,we are hold down very much with the speed we got :(

i got some members in my forum that got 10 Mbps down and 2Mbps upload,and its for free from the gouvernment to stimulate people to get better education..
(not in my country)

so if you need to live with dialup,see it as you live like in prehistoric times :)

its the same in most countries like that,example here:

upc cable connection:
3 Mbps down
380Kbps up
cost:80 euro/month
limit:around 60 Gig/month

if you past the 60 gig,you placed back to 64Kbps...

why so fast connections for high price,and put a low download limit?

its technical possible to go much faster,but they want to get money for less service first.

The nice part is, we're not supposed to get more than c. 700kbps down. Either my dad's "connections" with the cable company are paying up, or we finally killed our cable modem's limiting software. :P

BTW, it's Cablespeed by Millenium Digital Media.

My ISP is Comcast on the Eastern Coast, and they just bumped up the download speed to 3mb, my upload is still only 1mb but I enjoy it....Weeeeeee!!

Plus I also tweaked my registery to get the most out of my bandwidth..
