just a friendly compitetion really, it's a site where you dl there benchmarking tool then you post your benchmark on a site, and you can compair them against others or even see how you rank against everyone over all.
the site is: http://www.glexcess.com
my bench mark right now is: http://www.glexcess.com/xsmark/detail.asp?...0&bpp=16&id=422 (http://www.glexcess.com/xsmark/detail.asp?res=800&bpp=16&id=422)

Heres my results,
Unfortunately it did not pick up the video correctly, I have a ATI 9700 Pro and it listed it as a 7000?? I let the admins know? Maybe my drivers were out of date?
Heres the link;

Enjoy!
BTW if you notice, my processor is overclocked, it is really a AMD 2700+ XP model

I think because the barton core handles the heat displacement better than the throughbred core.
Heck as long as it runs I don't care!

unfortunately xp's are locked most of them anyways, which means you can't really over clock them.
however if it is unlocked, i've seen people overclock a 2500+ to 2.5 gigs
200x12.5 i think it is.

Yah my XP model is unlocked because it came standard with 166x13 which is 2.17 Ghz.
My motherboard has an FSB upto 300 and a multiplier of 16. So while messing around with overclocking tweaks, I found an article that said a AMD 3200+ Barton core is 2.2Ghz.. Set at the default of 200x11, so I set mine to that and have had stabilty with no offset.
I have gone to FSB @ 166 and the multiplier at 14 to get the results of 2.32 Ghz, however I did get some stabilty issues with the USB.sys error after a couple of hours running under moderate load.
I will have to try the 200x12.5 and see what I get...probably no boot up...lol
