Simple Skin

hi..

well ive been needing a skin for 1.1.2 for some time now..so i thought id request one now since i havent seen any that match my taste.


well i would like it similar to this skin

but with a slightly more silver/greyish gradient which would be nice and if you can use

E5E5E5 for the background because i would like it in the type of them for my website

Although I cant do skins myself as I have the brains of a...something with no brains anyway , it dont look that hard

you would be better upgrading to 1.3 due to the fact there are vulnerabilites within that version and no one really creates custom skins under that anymore.

if you still wish to use 1.1.2 there are still skins within the database here :)

Buzz , see if NBS has a skin on their database and if they aint try ibplanet.com , Mike is right too , you should upgrade, you wouldnt be losing many posts or members either , just bulk email them saying its going to be upgraded and they will need to re-register.

they wont need to re-register as long as you upload everything in the 1.3 zip file apart from conf_global.php and sm_install.php and then run upgrade5.php and then upgrade6.php as far as i know but make sure you read the upgrade text file first to check.

well i have upgraded to 1.2 for now and thats where i want to stay untill 2.0 so would it still be possible?

and digital pyro where i get the alyout from then..lol

lol yeah i was speaking to him aboujt layouts and what i wanted so he sguuested that i customized it to my own liking though ^__^

There are other skins mind...Mike told you to upgrade so that it would be easier on the skinner , not because then someone would definatly do the skin for you
