Hello,
I come from a YaBB background.
I am glad to have moved on to Invision as it has much more functionality than YaBB did when I "upgraded".
I really miss one of THE most used features of the site.
In the Admin area, we had what was known as the Error Log.
This when click on, reflected ALL errors a user would get.
Now, you ask, why is this a good thing?
1. If the user received a "Not Authorized" error when attempting to sign in as an admin to a restricted area,
it would reflect the error,
the date of the error,
the link attempted,
the IP of the user and if a member the username!
2. If there was a error with the forum somewhere it would reflect the error, the link when getting the error, the IP of the user, etc. This was great for trouble shooting problems.
3. If a user(admin) from another board attempted to find a YaBB weakness in your board too, this would be reflected when they go the error as well as IP, etc.
So, you see, this my friends is a VERY helpful way of monitoring security concerns for your Invision Site!
Now, to clean this out, you could select individual error entries and delete or "Toggle All" to remove all.
So, PLEEEESE? This is a great feature to add if someone can do it!
*As a side note, I have contacted both Invision "pay per mod" they turned me down because I only offered $20. I also posted at IBPlanet with no resonses to do it. Pitt did a similar mod but VERY limited. It just tracks user name and says and attempt via log in attempt.
