I sortof
figured out how to skin the boards manually for those with servers with
php safemode on.
Only problem is if your running the portal also,
The table backgrounds on the portal stay the default color of the IB
default skin.
Will post a tutorial for skinning the boards later
today, and if I figure out the problem with the portal will get that up
also.

ok so
far am getting the portal working properly with the board skin, just have
to finish up the other skins i have.
if you want to see that it
does work with doin it manually
http://www.knights-of-avalon.com ('http://www.knights-of-avalon.com')
so far have
only the default skin, and the red gel skin done, if you change the skin
in the board, the portal is now updating properly.
once I am done,
will write a tutorial on what I have done.

I
thought with version 1.1 it didnt matter if you server had PHP safe mode
on!!

With
safemode on, you can't import a skin normally, but doin it manually
is far easier than it was with prior versions. The hardest part about
manually doin it, is if your using the portal also, then you have to
edit a stylesheet for each skin for the portal to use.
Will get
more out as I get it done.
may not get the tutorial completed today as
I want to make it perfect.
