Well I am leaving for Christmas to go up to Guilderton (A small town at the beach) so I won't be on this board until the 1st of January. While I am there I am going to attempt to make a portal :o
The portal will have some kool name (Yet to be thought of). Possible IBFSPortal or IBFskinnedPortal or maybe even SpinnaPortal. Suggestions are welcome for as you can see mine are crud.

u dont even have to call it "portal". SpinnaWebFront, or something. but i guess ppl know what a portal is.

I have had a change of ideas with the Portal. Instead of making it only for Invision I am going to make it like PHP-Nuke with an included Invision Forum that use the same skin files i.e. Allowing skins for the forum or site to also change the other part. It should rock. A VERY basic trial design is at:

Looking intresting m8, thou personal add some new idea to it, the aff list and team list seams so standard on portals, Try looking at this thread about what people are looking for in a portal and maybe add some idea from there, that way you get a portal thats different and what loads of people want ;)) Link (http://forums.invisionpower.com/index.php?act=ST&f=30&t=28771)

I need people for the SpinnaPortal team with two things:
1) PHP Knowledge
2) Invision Knowledge
For instance people will login to the site and then when they come to the forum they don't want to login again. I am good at html and reasonable at graphics but that sort of stuff is beyond me. If you are able to help please email me or contact me on any of my Instant Messengers.

Why nt learn PHP? You could do your own stuff the way you want to, without being dependent on somebody else (when that person is not able to do a certain job for exemple)

I know basic PHP and I do want to learn more PHP but learning takes time. Eventually I will know PHP but for now if I can get others to help it will be quicker and easier. There is also other stuff for me to work on while they do the PHP so it is not like I am using others to do the work and myself sipping lemonade or something.
