Laptop Having Trouble Connecing To My Network

Ok, so I'm on live then I decide to do my business. I turn on my laptop, and open up mozzi and BAM Cannot find wireless network...
I know the network works bc I'm using a diff wireless adapter for my XBOX.
Why wont my card for my laptop work anymore??? Some times before i got on LIVE the Net would drop for days. (usually when i download more than 10 megs???)
I have no clue why this happens and it dosent happen for my friend who also is on my ISP. The whole thing is down not just the wireless...

Well, there may be a possible IP Confliction. Thats happend with me before using two laptops on a wireless network.

I had a problem like that it turns out i burnt out my onboard networking card, thankfully my isp gave me a brand new dlink for free and all was fixed.
