Ok, Some people have a little trouble with setting IPDL up, so here goes.
1. When setting your forum up, you might want to decide now if you want IPDL as your main page. (I.E.: The page your users hit before getting your forums.)
2. After deciding, Set up IPDL in a SEPERATE folder than your forum folder. If you want IPDL as your homepage, Set index.php (IPDL index.php) in your public_html folder (www, public, public_html, html, which ever your host uses).
3. Set your forums up in ./forums (This will make it easier on you because you wont have to edit anything in index.php of the IPDL file. But if your not suited with /forums on your webiste, change the name to what you like. I will explain how to set it up in different folders.
4. Ok, If you opted to change the name of the folder your forum is in, then get your php/html edit out and open the index.php file of IPDL and then find
"define( 'ROOT_PATH', "./forums/" );" Ok, now change the "./forums/" to the name of your forum folder.... DO NOT FORGET THE TRAILING SLASH!
4. After your done that, upload any moded files, and then get into your forums ACP. Then goto System settings >> Set-up IPdynamic Lite.
5. Im going to make a list of the settings and the correct configurations for you, just copy the list.
IPDL field options.
Ô ENABLE IPDynamic Lite? - Yes.
Ô Page Title? - Set the title of your page. Your choice.
Ô Forums to export articles from... - Tricky thing here. Ok, in a seperate window, open the forum(s) you want the topics to come from, then highlight the link, scroll over and get the forum ID. it will look like this "?ID=2". So if you want topics from forum id 2 you'll put "2" in this feild. When you have more than one forum, ge tthe numbers of the forums and seperate them with commas in this feild.
Ô Number of Articles to display in the main section- Your choice, I dont suggest you have too many, you might clutter the IPDL.
Ô Enable Recent Articles? - Yes, Though this is your choice, you can select either Yes or No. Fill the next two text boxes in based on your Yes or No answer.
Ô Date format for articles? - Time/Date format, Please dont change if you dont know the PHP time congifurations. You can get the from http://us4.php.net/date if you dont know them ..
Ô Max. no of characters to show per article- Your Choice, Again I dont suggest you choose a high number as it may clutter IPDL.
Ô Enable Recent Discussions? - Your choice, either Yes or No, After that fill in the following text boxes based on your choice of yes or no.
Ô Show User / Guest Info box? - Your choice Yay or Nay.
Ô Show online users? - Yes or No, your choice.
Ô Show search box? - Your choice, all depends on your google search likes or dislikes.
Ô Enable skin selection choice dropdown? - Yes, if you want to make your members stay easy, no if you dont want an extra menu droping down.
Ô Show Poll? - Yes or No, but you'll have to manually supply the poll link everytime there is a new poll you want to show.
Ô Show Site Navigation Menu? - Yes, or No, only if you want to include other sites links.
Ô Site Navigation Menu Links - Just add Http:// then a www.link.com
- If its a board link/function you can use {board_url}act=link
Ô Show Affiliates / Favoured Sites box? - Yes or No. You can show images here.
Ô Show Affiliates / Favoured Sites box content - Yes or No. Your choice...
- Should know a little html linking for this.

Im prety sure thats the correct html statement for linking images. I've gotten a little rusty on HTML in the poast few years.
Press "Submit Changes" And boom your done.
