Is there something for me to test my site on my pc instead of uploading it to my server?
Im building a site that uses a shopping cart program and stuff and i need to take it to a meeting and show a live demo. what can i use?
My mom and I are opening up a stampstore :) the old one closed down :)

yep, php triad is the one we use, its basically a home server software for windows, it allows you to connect to your server with IP from any where :)
Works a treat for us, the http://www.nbsdesignz.co.uk domain is on our home server running this, we use it as a test area for skins, new products, and so on, allowing us to have the speed of file transfer, and viewing of a live site when you want it.

yer thats the one i use as well ^ Apache2Triad - its great software so easy to set up and get running and if you dont want to connect via your ip you can get a no-ip address for free which picks up your IP also if your on dial-up.
Check http://no-ip.com

if it's only you using it, be easiest for you to type in http://127.0.0.1/index.html (127.0.0.1 is your local ip)
