Pop Up Problems

Ok, im using a student acount, and i cannot figure this out, on my row of computers, i cannot receive pop ups. Meanig when they pop up they dont load. so i cannot get onto aim express, or play any javascript popup games. Does/Can anyone help me or know what the problem is???

Is JavaScript enabled in your Internet Options?
Is there a popup blocker installed?
