I cant CHMOD my stuff, because my FTP Client doesnt work with my host <_< , so does anyone know if there is another way around it?

if you have a cpanel with your host you can do it from there, and yes chmod is very importan to keep your site safe.......well as safe as it can be with all these script kiddies running among.....anyway thats another story,... ;)

as sprocket said if you can get access to cpanel inside there - there is a section called file manager it can be done by clicking on the relevant folder and file and its either permissions or something similar.

Goto ftp://ftp.yoursite.com
Right click
- "Login as"
- "Put your pass and user name in"
- "click on the file or folder you want to chmod, goto properties and you can change it form there."
