Although not my cup of tea, I've been asked this question a few times
over on ibskins, in order to fit the forum in with the rest of their site
people want to align their forums to the left and want a quicker way than
going through all the templates.
Its a trick that relies on the
fact that tables naturally align themselves to the left.
go to
admin CP/skins & template/manage macros/edit and find the tbl_width and
increase your basic table width to 100%.
Then edit your wrapper in
effect putting your board inside a table of the actual width you require,
this could be a fixed width of 800 or a percentage eg 80% : for example
assuming you wanted 80%

and you havent had to edit a single align='center'
