Frist off i did not know to put this In rant or Not. But I wanted to Point it to the gamers with Laptops and Ultralight Laptops. Ok here it is

Right now we are in a age of Desktops and Laptops. Desktops are great. Most of the time it 10 to 20% faster then a laptop. But you can t carry around your desktop where ever you go and play it. That where the Laptop comes in.

Yes I like to play video games anywhere I'm at in the car train bus Plane. And I have to use 5 hardwares devices (harddrive cdrom ram cpu videocard) when I play a game like Cilivation 3 or Simcity 3. Why? well you need the cd. And I can only get a 1 1/2 Hour time to play the game. And if the code is broken or you dont need the cd I can play 2 Hours. Then let take a look at some of the Ultralights. They dont have cdroms drives. Unless you have a addon for the ultralights. Well the add on great if your at home. But If your in a plane would you want to have 2 to 3 extra parts for the laptop. Just play a game. What happen to Useing the hard drive. Ya My laptop can hold two 80 gb of hard drive space. And I feel The game industry can fix this.

Here some things they could do. Have a 30 day with no cd. On the 31 It ask for the cd Then you get another 30 days. So people with laptops dont have to Lug cds that can be broken or scraped.

Then a group of friends would pass the CD around every month. Only one of them needs to buy it so the others have spare money to blow down the pub. ;)

Well there already doing that. Someone buys the Game. Copys it to disks and send it to there friends. There differnt ways Game industry can fix this. Like have the 30 days and only work from one Email address.

I just want to beable to run my Laptop with games with out useing extra stuff.

I'm going to be buying a Laptop soon for graphics/poser/maya/3d studio max, so I'm glad I know this... heh. Luckily none of those programs need the disc, I did want to buy the laptop for games too.

Damn!

Never can I just be happy with a machine I buy.
