The post screen is where you type your messages before actually posting them up on the message board itself. If you look below I've provide a snap-shot of what the post screen is just so that we're crystal clear on what we're talking about.
Now, if you wish to place in image inside the post screen (e.g: you can place your board s slogan, logo, etc.) then the first thing you need to do is create the image using some sort of graphicial program. Once you've got the image it's time to install it, follow this path: Admin CP -> Skins & Templates -> Style Sheets -> Edit. Now add the following line in your style sheet over where it would normally be located (so find the .textinput are first):
.textinput {background-image: url (Place The URL Of The Image Here)}
Replace the text I've marked in Red with the image's URL you wish to add to the post screen, once you've completed that click on the Edit stylesheet link.
