First off I would like to tell you its not a good way of chatting, no matter your firewall talking thru IRC believe it or not opens alot of ports for hackers to break into, and if your using a firewall like Zone Alarm (the best) and say yes to allow this to act as a server....guess what you just did....you let me in. Just letting you know...if anything use another messenger, mIrc and IRC is junk. Was and always will be.... Well I have been using Conversation for a while now, and tho its not as customizable as X-Chat its still damn good. :D Aristia 20-Jul-2004, 04:18 PM There's nothing much else on our server worth hacking anyway so it doesn't really matter to us :) I'm gonna try out the two chats - conversation and sprocket's one "conversation" looks kinda normal, but i do like the other one although, i couldn't download the themes i wanted, and another downside is when we chat in irc, there's loads talking and you can pretty much only fit 3 or 4 lines in a window so that'd not work for me :( |
