ok before I go on and on about this, the first question in your guidelines are you anything like Invisionize. I just had my lawyer send them an email in regards to all my skins. I dont apprecaite them allowing people to edit the skins that I create being this is against everything I create skins for and legally and morally wrong. Someone doesnt create a skin for you to chop up and do what you feel with it. This is uncalled for and appaling. It literally makes me sick, if you guys allow this please take my skins out of your database.

As a member of the NBSdesignz community you agree that any file downloaded from our network will not be altered in anyway, without pri consent in writing from an NBS Administrator or owner of the submitted file, this included removing any copyright information with the files. You agree also agree that we may take further action against you for loss of sales (Maximum Claim we can make £1000). We always take further action on people that do not abide by this.

This whole thing is a little to much, at the end of the day, some one spends huge amounts of time making something for others to use, i guess the way i look at it with ourselfs, and very much like yourself, is that you do charge also for editting rights, so by saying no one can edit without permission is normal to us here.

We feel every submitted work, is 100% there work, and no one has the right to edit without permission.
All i can say is, its there loss, not ours, i will stand by any author work submitted to us.

People will need to edit for their own use, that's usually a given. But when they do it without permission it really p's me off. I usually say ok but they must keep our copyright and if they wish to, enter a "modified by" statement.

Thanks baby jai :) and yes we are aware of the shop, and shall be getting the maker to help us out as its still beta. :)

I just have to ask, does your complaint stretch even to editing the Board Header, or are you referring to Templates and CSS only? It's just that I don't see the appeal of a skin to which you can make no edits what-so-ever. Obviously, making my own skin would be my preference, but I'm not the most talented of skinners, so I rely on the skins that other's kindly donate. However, if such things as the header could not be altered, then I do not see how it could be assimalated into the theme of the forum.
