Ok My cable was broke, I got soooo ------ off. I had to unhook my digital cable receiver and plug the direct cable wire into the tv. Thats really annoying. Lets start from the beginning, I ahve digital cable, ok, with atlanticBB (Broad Band) ok... Well, I was programming my remote to work with my tv/vcr combo set and the stupid shitty thing breaks. It unprogrammed it self, so it wouldnt change channels, ajust the volume, view the guide, turn the box or tv off. it doesnt turn the tv off anyway. Well, I was programming it, and it unprograms it self not to work with the set top receiver.
At this point im so ------ off, I got up and switched the cable inputs to basic cable. now thats messed, basic cable in my room... That doesnt even fly with me. lol... Im the type of person that likes to either be on the computer, or be watching some movies. well with basic cable you cannot watch movies, you only get regular programming. So I turned to the computer, looking up codes, Nothing is to be found on how to reprogram and unprogrammed remote. So I called cable, no, my mom called cable, they said we'll fix it bring it in. My mom said that battery cover latch was broke, they said no problem.
So my mom takes the remote in, and they slap a $10.00 replacement fee on it, I was like what the f-ck... they said they do it for free, no questions asked... well Im furious now. but yet, the story still goes on...
Whilst my cable box was unhooked from the line for like 4 days, that stupid thing kind of lost all signals from the cable company for my pay channels, Like HBO (like 6 channels) Cinemax (like 4 channels) and the lower channels from like CH 100 to 300 and then from 300 to 452 i think. 452 being action max or something like that. im not sure. but thats besides the point. So, I wait 4 days to get a remote fixed, and then my f-cking cable box doesnt receive any good movie channels.
hmm, *Ed thinks the equipment will work better after going out the windows and onto the back deck 12 feet down
well thats my rant, my cables not working, and im tired of it. but the thing is, satellite sucks im my opinion. so Ive got no where to go
