Question On Fresh Install Of Version 2

hi, i got a question regarding the fresh install of version 2.0
and move the database(members and topics ,etc) from 1.3 to the fresh install of 2.0 ?
is that possible or not a fat chance ......

reason we like to go with a fresh install
1. new mods

2. no bugs that came with 1.3 upgrade or whatever comes with it .

planning to upgrade our forums in oct when version 2.0 goes gold and has the full support of skins and mods that we plan to install ..

or any other sugestions ....

Well I can say, that a fresh install of 2.0PF has led to no problems that I have noticed...

I had a problem with a mod always controling more than he should have, so...

A fresh install worked for me, and I just keep the database intact with a backup of them...

Fresh install is fine as long as you have a backup of your Database, conf_global.php file, you may also need your /sources/SQL folder but im not sure on that one.

Then all you need to do is upload all the new PF3 (current version) files to your FTP as you normally would. Overright the conf_global.php file. Leave your database as it is or reupload it if you need to. Run the upgrader and you will be away!
