I made a huge mistake a while ago (I think), updating my forum to 2.0 Final and now with the darn crappy license I wanna go back to 1.3. I don't wanna go back, but that's the only real "free" version, right?
Anyhow, is it possible to downgrade to 1.3 from 2.0 without losing all my members, posts etc.? If I remember correctly, there is now way to do it... but I need to ask.

i don't think there is a way but i may be wrong........you might be able to get away with installing 1.3 again and then uploading your 2.final database to it!! not to sure though, worth a try if you have the room to install 1.3 along side 2. final...

when you upgraded did you back up your 1.3 database and file? that would be the only way, I think. You'd just lose anything new since the upgrade.
What happens if you continue to use the 2.0 "trial"? Just no more upgrades?

Yes, that would indeed be the only way.

That's a good question indeed. I mean, they can't force me to remove it or make me purchase a license... or can they?

Just what I thought. I do have copies of my old database, but they're so outdated by now... hmm.
Well well, thanks for the replies guys. Appreciated indeed.

I don't think they could force you to remove the trial version the board, I think they're hoping that people who have upgraded already with buy a license. They didn't release all those boards for free by accident evidently.
