Sort Of A New Skin Started But Not Finished

Hello

Been working on a new skin http://www.virtual-forum.com unfortunately the colours are a bit off, for example the background was meant to be #efefef but I mis-typed and ended up with #efeefe hence the need for sunglasses when viewing.

It should of been finished weeks ago but I've been side tracked by writing a tute for 1.1, actually scratch tute make it a book, so only the board view has been touched and thats only about 50% done.

Suffice to say, hopefully it'll get done in one shape or form, although I have managed to delete the .psd's so it will change considerably, if I could actually draw it would be a bonus.....if you hadn't wiped windows out adam, that'd be helpful :blink:

It looks really nice.

I seldom keep the psd's for anything like my codebusterz skin for instance.
try maybe hue and saturitation and click the little colorize option, then fool around with the coloring bars? :)

I do like what you have done with this, its certainly is a one off :) and thats what grabs my attension. Shame about the psd's thou :P always the way thou, but i sure you find a way around that. Sure be nice when it done thou. nice job adam :)

cheers chaps, I keep puzzling over why I left this board in such a huff(probably because I'm an ---- :D)

The psd's aren't a huge problem as such, I can replace them using the gimp, I've also got windows installed on my linux drive using a windows emulator sort of thing called vmware.

I love the new skin Adam even if it is only half done, It looks great.
Its a shame to hear about you erm.....losing windows but believe me you are not the only one to have done that recently *sigh*

cheers Chris, its sort of an ongoing concern. I must confess it would have been finished much sooner, but christmas and new year happened and the pc never got switched on :blink: Unfortunately at the mo its not going to get hurried up much as my one remaining granda' is a bit poorley so I'm off up to northumberland to keep and aye on the auld bugger and keep him a bit company.

Anyway this is my way of explaining that support from me will vanish from thursday onwards many apologies :o

i'm sure it will be thanks, thing is I'm sure I'm the kiss of death, went to look after me fatha he popped his clogs, other grandad, well he went doolally then shuttled off. This grandad I actually like, he was a miner when he was a bairn then went off to fight in libya. He's kind of a hero of mine, So we'll see, he's in conge...something or other heart failure so his legs hurt and he's not drinking properly, however I intend to force him. :D
