yes this is true....because i need to run other programs that Mac do not support, i'm will to take a backward step and swap my Mac G5 for a P4, :sick:
here are my details

Mac G5 1.6
800mhz front side bus
1gig ddr fast ram
G/Force FX 500 64meg gfx
DVD re-writer
18" TFT panel (monitor)

what i'm looking for=

P4 2.8 min
1gig ram
60gig + hard drive
G/Force or ATI 128meg gfx
DVD re-writer
17 or 18" TFT or monitor (flat screen if monitor)

i can deliver if you pay petrol, England only.

any takers?

I mean even my G3 will run that, thou depending on what programs, anyways there are always software that Mac have for the same job as PC, just got to get used the the different ways to do the same results.

i've tried virtual pc and can't seem to get it working, it gives me the msg "Virtual PC does not support this type of procesor" so i gave in...

as for the software i want to run, i already have it for PC and money being a big problem at the moment, rather than buy Mac software i might as well use my PC software, plus there are one or 2 programs that are not available on Mac, (well the ones that i used to working with anyway)

i don't mind where the P4 comes from (so to speak) as long as it meets my list on first post,

You have a pretty decent pc, so you should be able to get a fair price on ebay for that, if you sell it on e-bay then find a good deal for a p4.

i need to have a pc at all times, so thats why i'm going down the swap rout.....
