Erm sorry havnt been about for a few weeks, i've read a few posts that mention that IPB is now charging. Whats gonna happen to the little guys ? Sounds like they want me to pay more for IPB licence than i do on my hosting... Hmm this is not good. Can anyone spread a bit more light on this ? Maybe a link or somthing...

Hmm looks like i may have been lucky. Lets see how long the trial version holds up... VB and phpbb are both free right , lets hope they dont all turn :(

vB is 160$ for lifetime its a very stable well built message board

phpBB is free but not as stable as vB

i recommend vB if you want a nice clean cool stable BB
