Well i decided over the weekend to take a trip down to the apple store in london.

And finally ive been converted and am now hoping to splash out on a mac in the near future. Spending a few HOURS in the store i realised how many little things were missing in the PC that were so useful on the Mac. even looking at the microsoft products on the mac which they have made so much easier to use. we had one of their staff with us for about half an hour showing us around the system and he was great - very helpful. we spent some time in their cinema lounge where they went through bits and pieces that could be done.

Its crazy how many little things you notice on a mac which are not included on a PC.

Good on ya mike, apples are so much more user friendly i think, plus running from a unix goverment core issue makes it so very safe. Were looking at moveing our home server now also to the mac platform :)

I got to agree with mark on the mini mac, for the price of 400 you get a G4 1.42 and thats not bad, i mean i am still running on my lappy g3 900 and that does me very well, so i think for a small cost of 400 we be getting a couple as stels is a g4 but only a 700 so that help her well.

I know so many ppl put down macs, but really until you been on it, showed it, and tested it, you can see what we like about them.

Nice, we have about 15 in our small Voc. class and I have to admit they are more efficient for Video Editing (what we do), Microsoft Word is even way better.
