As you can see I am begining to edit the PHP and templates themselves not just changing images...

the next step is designing better buttons for the forums...

Looking wonderful :woot:
Seen alot of posts about this one in the priority support area and its great to see all the new stuff you've figured out coming together. I think the drop down menus to select a mods profile is a great idea too. Cutting out the footer on the categories also looks great.
/me looks around and 'borrows' that idea for a skin B)
Skinning is great as you get to share all these ideas together (And poems :P).
Can i suggest changing:

so that its class is "copyright". It makes it fit in alot better with the skin in my view. Did you put that into functions.php or in the templates? I have looked long and hard for it in the templates but they don't seem to allow you to edit anything below about:

Did you take/get any inspiration from the vB skin?

Its just the buttons are similar and so is the silver/orange theme.

I said it was based on a vB skin...

well the buttons and colours were based....

im back online now so spending a bit more time to create version 2 of this skin, basically smaller file size and useless code in templates removed so it loads faster.
