Hey NBS,
I'm in need of some help installing hacks. It's proving pretty difficult to me, and I don't really have the time to go through the stages of learning. The hacks I'd like are the Arcade Hacks and, most importantly, the Invision Power Board Portal. But I have a couple of questions: If you can install them for me, do I need to have the hacks on my computer? Or do you already have them on yours? And will you need FTP information, or will someone give me a step-by-step?
Thanks for the help!

Sorry to double post, but it won't let me edit the original, I'd like to say the arcade I'd like is the most up-to-date one from here: http://www.ibproarcade.com/ for IPB v1.3.1 Final.

First skrying, we don't "hack" as you call it. We install mods and other items for our customers. We also don't carry anything such as "hacks" on our systems. What we offer are skins and other items for a small donation or fee.
Can you please be more specific about what you would like installed. If it is a product that you purchased from someone else and would like it installed, we can help with that. If it is an illegal copy, sorry we can't not assit with that.
Thank you for choosing NBS for your support.

Sorry, calling 'mods' 'hacks' is a kind of force of habit. One of the mods I'd like installed, is the IBP Arcade, from the link I gave in the first post. Secondly, and this one is more important to me, I would like to have a portal installed. I'm pretty sure that is the right term for it.
See the portal for this site: http://www.ngwrestlingames.com/forums/portal.php -- This is the kind of thing I'd like installed. A mod to integrate the forum with the main site.
Any help would be great. Thanks.
Oh, and just for the record, I'm not using any illegal software. :nudge:

Okay for the portal, I need to know what version of IPB you are using.
Then after you enter your forum domain name like this:
www.yourdomainname.com/index.php?act=home (http://www.yourdomainname.com/index.php?act=home)
If you enter the >> index.php?act=home after your domain it should show up will everything already there and also take the look of your skin.
To set up your portal, in version 2.0 of IPB do this:
1) Goto your ACP Panel
2) Goto System Settings > View All General Settings > IPB Portal
3) Answer yes to all that you want to show up in your portal then click at the bottom Update Settings
Now for your visitors to see it before your forums, do this:
1) Goto System Settings > General Configuration
2) At the very top of the page, you will see this text "Website Address
This is the URL to your website. If entered, it'll appear on the board above the header by default."
Enter in your http:// link including the index.php?act=home then click Update Settings
3) Now close your browser and reopen it and enter in your site name. The portal should display before the forums...
If you have any problems following this, just let me know. As for the Arcade install, I'n not familiar with that type of mod yet. I'm sure someone will be along to assist you.

PS: Sorry for being up front and frank, we just don't like those who use illegal software or using the h word sends shivers down my spine. No hard feelings I hope. Thanks for understanding.

I'm using IPB 1.3.1 Final. I tried going to my websites address and using the index.php?act=home after it, but it gave me this message: "No input file specified."
I would try the step-by-step you mentioned, but you said that's how you do it for 2.0.
And yeah, no hard feelings!
