First of all let me just say wOw ! I havnt checked the site for a couple of months and u guys have done a total revamp, it looks amazing!! People must have been working very hard to get this all together, well done guys.

Now to the main point :) i took my own boards down as it was really taking up to much of my time, i had to let my life take back over. :( However i've still got my domain (http://www.the3rdplace.co.uk) and my hosting and it's come the time that i get something back up there.

It's great to see that ur not just offering forums templates but also web templates. Me and one of my friends are after a template for a gallery type site and im thinking that yet again NBS Designs might be the guys to ask.

He's a semi profesional photographer and i just mess about with a camera now and then in my spare time and we'd both like to show our work off on the world wide web :)

So basicaly is there any chance that NBS or someone at NBS could creat a template (maybe in flash) that can be used as a gallery ? Im sure it would be a great addition to the paid download section.

Anyway hope that all made sense and again great work guys ! I'll check back later ta see if there any takers :)

Hello I'm a photographer myself and was planning to work on a flash site with a gallery guess I'll have to stop putting it off. I'm curious though how a flash template works does that include the .fla? So it can be edited.

Yeah im not to sure myself m8, would be nice if it did. Maybe flash isnt the best way to do the template im not sure. But i havnt been able to find any nice gallery style templates on the net so im sure it would be usful in bring new user's to NBS. Saying that i havnt looked in a while so maybe id better check :)

To be honest as much as we do like a challege this is one that would take some time to do, at current we have put a hold onto custom work, and mainly spending time bring our main database upto the standard we want with free styles.

For a template rather than an entire flash site it might be easier to mix swf's with html to make it easier to be editable. I have designed sites before but never made a "template" so I'm just trying to figure out how to go about that.

Hello, I might be able to assist you.

I cannot do flash at the moment due to it crashing, so I can only do Photoshop Work. If you would want to talk PM me for my MSN. :)

(Hope this is ok with NBS if I do-do this one)

After working through it I figured out you need to set text files as a dynamic text db calls for the swf to load so it can be customized by someone with no flash knowledge.
And the photo gallerywill have to be set up as a load images from location call so that they can be changed, updated etc.
Personally I would avoid using raster (photoshop) graphics in a vector program because it will only increase file sizes. :hmm:

Great features too...
