View Full Version : Installing a paid skin to vB

We just bought a paid skin. The instructions say, and we quote "Via FTP, upload the image folder that was in the zip, into the "images" folder."
OK there is a images folder on the server, BUT there is NO image folder in the zip file... Do you mean the icons folder... the smilies folder... the buttons folder.... What is the actual folder name that is supposed to be uploaded onto the server?
Also, do we upload the entire folder, or just its contents into the image folder on the server?

I believe that the vB vBX file has a folder called vbx with all the different image folders in it, you would put that in the /forums/images/ folder
So it would look like:
/forums/images/vbx/
the vbx folder should contain these folders: buttons, editor, misc, polls, rating, reputation, statusicon...
so the structure would look like:
/forums/images/vbx/buttons
/forums/images/vbx/editor
/forums/images/vbx/misx
/forums/images/vbx/polls
/forums/images/vbx/rating
/forums/images/vbx/reputation
/forums/images/vbx/statusicon

We just noticed that there are two folders with that same file tree to them. The other one is listed in the _MACOSX folder.
Does anyone know what the differance is between both of these folders?
Which is the correct one to upload?

Dont use the _MACOSX one, as this is a file structure when it was made on a mac. You can safey delete this.
