5 Months?!

I requested a phpBB skin in november of 2004 and was told it would be no problem, shouldn't take long right? I gave all the information required and supposedly 2$CoMpLiCaTeD/.. was working on it. A month goes by, i add him to MSN and he said it would be done in a week, another month goes by, no news, yet another and he promises a preview in a few days. Nothing at all, he won't even reply to my PMs and has blocked me on MSN. Just forget it. Its too late anyways, we've changed our website theme and even if you did have the phpBB theme it wouldn't match our layout like i hoped. Wasted 5 months, i could have done 10 themes by now, and i have no phpBB skinning knowledge at all. You're not the only one who made promises, i promised the users on my forum a new theme that would match the layout and it will never come because you can't do your job. Now i will remove all links to NBS Designz from my website/forum.

Ok, as long as you are not removing links from skins as that is copyright breach. I don't know what complicated is doing or not doing for you, but it seems he is busy most of the time. He has been demoted for not producing promised work already. If you wish to blame NBSdesignz for complicated's actions then go ahead. All skin requests are not guaranteed to be fulfilled as it's voluntary work.

I just want to say I may not know all the workings here at NBSDesignz.com however, In light of this complaint/rant...NBSDesignz.com simply can not ensure every one the support or request that they ask. NBSDesignz.com is from what I understand a cooperative effort from many people with many backgrounds. We all try to assist in any way we can...we just can't promise something to everyone.

Now if Complicated was to do a skin or work for you, then that agreement is between the two who started it. If it seems that complicated did not completely fill the agreement then the other person should try to find a solution to the problem. If such a solution can not be reached?? One might consider the agreement moot and remember that for future agreements between them.

If you would like, I will try but can not promise, to talk with complicated and see what I can do for you...again I can not promise anything or give an answer to what outcome may be. Just that I will try.

So please if you choose to remove links to NBSDesignz.com from your website/forums, that is okay, I myself understand the disappointment that might have occured. Please just don't blame a whole company/website for one member/staff person for thier mistakes. They make them and it them ultimately who must correct them.
