Well as some of you know i been dieing to get my hands on a new apple mac for some time now, and finally been saving for months now, as well as selling every thing we can to get enough funds to buy one. Even selling wishes hehe.

Well i finally last sunday spotted a great one on ebay, a dual G5 1.8 was at the current price of £650.00 with a day left, we did our regular checks to see what the gent was like before thinking of buying, and all seamed great, had a good rep, a few sales, thou hidden from view, but all seamed ok.

We went for it, we started checking within the last 30 minutes, bids where coming in now on it, and the thought of it going over our budget was getting close. Would i ever get one i wondered. Well 20 seconds to we finally placed our bid, and YES we got it within our budget, Went for £950.00.

Needless to say i was at work at the time, and on the phone to stel getting up to date reports, as soon as the confirmation we won, i was like YES across my shop floor where i work. A few funny stares i will say i got from that.

We i finally got one i thought to myself, well after getting home, i was on cloud nine, i finally had a mac coming.

The next day only to awake to a email from ebay saying that the person i brought the apple from account has been suspended pending a investagtion.
My heart dropped. NOOOOOOOO My mac. I was told if i have not already paid , do not pay until we finished our investagtion. But like me we always pay our bills stright away.

We had days of worry if we even get our money back, but after many phone calls to ebay and paypal, as well as local police to get my money back, things worked out, and i finally got my refund back.

Thou having the money back in the account was nice, i was still more disapointed i not got a Mac still, knowing that most of these sell for around 1300 on ebay, means i had to wait another few weeks to raise the funds.

Well after long thinking about the whole ordeal, i thought if we saved a little more from my wages and then sold this and that, we could just get enough to get a brand new G5 direct from apple themselfs.

This made my day. only to find out my bike started to have troubles, and had to be booked in for repair, looking at a 300.00 to fix it (going on the same problems before costing the same) Things just was not looking my way to get my Mac.

Well i still thought to myself, if i transfer all the fund i saved into my bank, which would take a week, then transfer it all ok my Credit Card, another 5 days, i would be ok to get my mac finally brand new from apple themself in 2 weeks.

At last, well one thing changed there, My dear friend Stu, came over today. Bless him hehe. (loves ya :P) Well after being noisey at his nice new toys he got, we got on to the subject of how my mac was going, after going though the above with him, he then offered to go down to our local apple dealer and buy me one today and then when i transfer the fund into my account give him the money then WOOHOOOO i thought, so we look at all the apple reseller local with a 20 miles radius, phoned them all up, and guess what .........
Yep non in stock LOL, damn it really was not going my way.

Well after crying for 2 hours, He finally said... Ok idea.....

And now i getting my mac from apple direct in a few days YES YES YES. I want his babies :P Well he ended up buying it from them direct for me. Bless him, well how many can say that got a mate like that. I so lucky now.

So now i got my upgraded G5 Dual 1.8 apple mac on its way to me.

So read it and weep all, Yes you can be Jelious now :P I got my baby come home to me soon. (awaits the email saying sorry our factory just blown up and no longer got any in stock.)

Well if all goes well, i should have my new mac within a week, they quote 2-3 days dispatch and then a further couple of days.

So a big Cheers to Stu, and i wub ya loads.

This is kind of off topic, but how come when people post smilies and stuff " class="inlineimg" />' always shows up?

Most likely just extra code in the smily image. nothing that cannot be fixed in the macros or smiley center in the ACP.
