Any
specific tutoriuals required, I keep getting hints that I should do a
skinning tute on ibskins, but nooo way! too much work. So if
you've identified any problem areas or just general stuff and as
I'm not messing with my own skins until that bug in 1.1 beta is fixed
, you know the skin post one ;), Suggestions welcomed

As a
question, you know why it causeing prob the skin_post one, i had it sh-t
loads myself, but i managed to get all the skin 100% bug free on import.
damn pain yes but i done it. So any idea what is doing this at all ?

urk its
fairly boring...ok from invision board "There are line breaks in the
javascript (//n) that the IB people have programmed (correctly) when they
made the software. However, if you use the admin control panel to edit a
template which contains javascript code that relies on these line breaks,
it simply converts them into a return character upon saving the page."
basically when you edit any template in the post section, it send
incorrect information to the database where the html is stored and you end
up with an error. This can be avoided by directly editing skin_post.php,
sounds ominous but if you have a look at the file its not to bad, its
split up into to functions but you'll recognise most of the html from
the templates. Its still a nightmare bug though, it means a lot more work.
For instance I'm currently converting chronicles but I'm a bit
stumped whether or not to wait for 1.1 beta final or just the final cos I
need to get into skin_post.

In the meantime I've just been
trying to work out colour schemes for new skins etc

Yer i see
what you mean, has caused us a few trouble along the way, but i willsay
for converting i find that a damn site easier myself :) so go
for it m8, and when finial is out it should take not to long to change it
then :)
