Im going to change from IPB to VBulletin sometime soon but the importer looks a little complicated. Has anyone done this recently and is it easier than it looks!?

Derek 23-Aug-2005, 05:12 PM I've helped someone import from IPB. It's very easy to do, the only problem is you will lose all of the passwords since IPB and vB use different password hashing methods. You would have to tell all of your users to click the forgot password link which sends them a random password. They can then change their password.
