Seeing as how a good majority of people here own and play Quake 3 arena, I was thinking maybe a IBFSkinned tournament of some sorts would be a cool way to get to know each other. What a better way to become close friends then blowing the crap out of each other? :P It's upto you guys of course just an idea. If we do I call being on M3NF's team!! :D

Haven't played Quake III in a while. Been playing more CS. Actually, haven't had time for anything in a while. If I can free some time, I'll come on and give ya a target. ;)) :ph34r:

I guess it has been at least a year since I played Q3. Just checked, I need to re-install it. I'll throw it on my machine as soon as I get a chance.

I've got Q3A on my PowerMac. Also have Unreal Tournament as well, just in case anyone is interested in that.
I'm better with UT than I am with Q3A so far, but that's just because I'm an addict :)
Nice skin, BTW.. That bloody shotgun sure beats the heck out of a sword!

This sounds a great idea, i in for it :) have to make sure thou we would all be using the same version, we could host the gaming server on our servers :) so that we could kick ppl off or password the server so us IBFs only could play hehe.

That'd be way kool! I haven't played in a while. I like ur skin there, I had clippit LMAO and johnny5 My fave is a blue yuriko but what's a bummer is that the other peeps playin don't see it :(
We gotta think of a date! and perhaps put it in the news to see who wants to play. Also, what teams we'll be on.

what control type you like?
i've tried \in_mouse 1 and \in_mouse -1 I find them both kinda wild but better then the original one.

I have my mouse normal too. but sensitivity turned up. gotta love the side buttons for RL :D

I have side buttons to, my mous is also an optical/laser mouse, so basically it has no cord or mouse ball, I guess I find all controls wierd.

quake 3 is like half life you need a working CD key to play online.

I am into the Quake III Team Arena Mod: Urban Terror.
In case you guys did not know: Quake III Team Arena is now at Point Release 1.32, in which includes Punkbuster.
Punkbuster bans illegal cd keys, so I had my friend buy game for cd key, and he gave it to me ;))
I think you guys should buy/get into Soldier of Fortune 2: Double Helix.
It is way more realistic then Urban Terror/Quake III.
It makes you feel like you are in the game, no lie.

Hehe already brought that to :) me a good boy lol, i still rather q3 thou, am is well known on the demo of game, well me and aristia. Just use [MAC] in front of your name and instant respect LOL, i remeber when our first skin was made, it was made for our clan forum, thats where this site came from. :)
