If your members complain of the member to member email opening in an external client such as outlook express follow the following steps to turn on the "form email" box.
AdminCP -> Tools & Settings -> Security and Privacy -> Security [General - Medium]
Use secure mail form for member to member mails?
Click the "yes" radio button and then save then changes.
