The maintenance section of the admin cp (found by navigating to the Tools & Settings Tab->Maintenance) allows the admin of the board to provide maintenance to several aspects of the board. These sections are listed below.
Manage Help Files
Allows you to add, edit, and/or delete help files for the board.
Cache Control
This cache manager allows you to view the contents of your cache and update them.
Recount & Rebuild
This feature allow you to recount the statistics for the board as well as:
resyncronize forums and topics
rebuild post content, user names, users post counts, attachment thumbnails
and data
remove orpahaned attachments, avatars, and photos.
Clean-up Tools
Allow you to run 3 different clean-up tools.
Remove duplicate system settings
Find & restore 'converged' members
Find & restore old IPB ban settings
