Problem On Using Tag?

I'm
very curious about the skins here with IBF V1.1

I install "Odin
cool skin Born In August" skin on my IBF V1.1,
However, I'm having
trouble when using some tag,
like http://, IMG, @, LIST.

The
browser didn't do anything,
and on the status bar, showing "Error
On Page" message.

Just want to know is it support
V1.1?

This is
a java script errors that we also encountered with out skins. You are able
to fix it on your board. Simply follow these directions:
1) Open
AdminCP
2) Expand 'Skins & Templates' on the left side
menu
3) Open 'Manage Skin Sets'
4) Choose the problem skin
(Born in August) and click edit
5) Change the template that it uses
from Born in August to 'Invision Board Template Set'
6) Click
'Edit Skin Set'
7) Test and if still broken let us
know
Basically when the template is edited through the AdminCP it
stuffs up the java script that runs the buttons for replying to posts. If
this dramatically alters the look of the board then let us know. I believe
the maker has seen this and the fixed version will be available
soon.

including more options on the top and other modification have to be
redone....

Actuallly, the layout for both Template set.
The changing makes
the tag works.


Another one week works for

1. goto Skin &
Templates
2. click on "Manage HTML" for BIA skin
3. scroll down
and find "Post Screen Sections", click on it
4. click on edit
"pm_postbox_buttons"
5. next thing is to resize the edit box
6.
click on "edit Box Size" button and set "number of column" to
180
7. refresh the page (only the part where the edit box is located
!)
8. find string:
message = "{ibf.lang.js_post}:
and move next line up to this
line (hit Del at the end of "message = "{ibf.lang.js_post}:" line
)
9. the same with second string "alert(message + " (hit
Del)

now you got thos strings, each one has the content on the same
line.

version?
or it's V1.1 version, just having some tiny
bug?

I'm very curious about it.

I found that after I
change template set,
the font color, size and others have some tiny
change.

I don't know whether it's because of my
modification,
or it's because of the different version templates.

what I get.

on the skin_post.php

funciton CheckLength()

....

did break into two lines.

It
works after I combine the lines.

Just a reminder,
if you find \\n in this
line...
then remove it.

It's generated because of the "new
line" instruction.

That's how you can fix the bugs.

I tried that too on my Board (htttp://Forum.Damn-Clan.net (http://htttp://Forum.Damn-Clan.net) but I still get this Error that You can•t press the html , mail or img button........I•m using the Altered skin.....it had a custom skin_post included to fix the errors but they still apear.........any ideas what to try?


/edit it works with the basic template but the whole design gets **** up ...... can you please help me or tell me whats wrong with this skin??????

yes goto your host and then skins inside s1 folder copy the "skin_ucp" and the "skin_post" files and place then into the folder that the skin is under, ie if you install that skin last it will be the highest s number and replace the files in there with the 2 you just copied, and that will fix it for you :)

I have contacted the person involved and i am delaing with this matter, his account with us is banned until this matter is resolved.

We do NOT accept removeable of any members skins copyright, and will take action to either remove the skin from there site or the orignal copyright install back onto the board.

Sorry for harse tone, but alot of work goes into making skins, and to claim it as your own is very wrong. IBFskinned will not tolerate this, and all person that do will be banned via ip, name and email domain.

First of i said that your account had been bammed in the email and also you had no right to remove this members copyright, he had taken many hours for you to change it to say you had made the skin, That is why the hasrse tone, we all will help anyone out but to steal someone work and claim as your own is wrong. thats fine here to, as long as deigner get there credit, as for fixing the troble if you goto your forum online as in host, log in via ftp, goto skin folder then inside you see a folder called s1, open that and copy the file called skin_post and another file called skin_ucp no place them 2 file also in every other s folder as well, and overright the old ones, that will fix the problem with this for you.

Question do you wish you other account to be reopened ?

No idea why but it works now.....just the header with the logo is somehow cut.....and the title of the forum is now ON the html page at the top of the forum instead of bein in the status bar on top of the browser window......whats that? is there no way to get the skin to work without that?

Last thing: The German Language pack is stupid ? changes to | , â changes to d , à changes to v !!!!!!!
