post indicators

I am after two post indicators one for new posts and one for no new posts for vB for my film forum.

They need to be compatible with all backgrounds.

I did have an idea in mind but i am not sure if it will work. I have had a go at them myself but i am rubbish at graphics

my idea was of a curtain which is closed for the no new then open for the new with a picture behind it.

150x70 ish in size no bigger though.


However if any of you fab graphic people out there have another idea then please let me see what you can do.

something quick and simple, is this the kind of thing your looking for?
i can change the curtains to "proper" curtains and what ever you what in the center when they have drawn back....

ok, what would you like? please feed me more info, colour, image for center, i was also thinking about a diffrent one like rolls of film spinning, movie camera with flickering light, clapper board openning and shutting, ect, how do you see it?....

well i like the idea of rolls of film spinning for the Movie news forum, perhaps have it showing the word NEWS when a new post is made.

the movie camera for the Movie Gossip forum would be cool perhaps the word gossip for a new post..

as for the curtains ones not sure about piccies just yet let me think on that a while..
