Thanks for the new release. Just as a suggestion, do you think you can include the copy of phpBB with all the edits in it as well? It would be alot easier to just upload the whole file and run an installer then have to download phpBB and this script and make all the edits by hand.

I'm thinking about doing that but not sure yet. I might just include the changed phpBB files and let everyone download the rest of the files from phpBB's site. Also what happens when you try to download the script?

Well when I download it it says the ZIP is 0kb. And when I extract it theres nothing in it.

I just downloaded it again and everything is there. It also says the size of it is 522 KB.

EDIT: Also, I have tried downloading this on Linux and Windows and both have extracted it fine with all of the files intact.

Did you try downloading it again? Remove the current one you have on your hdd, and try downloading again. I have gotten a few other people to try downloading and extracting it and it works fine for them.

Could you also specify what to enter in FTP Path as I am confused a lil bit.
How shall i enter that?

If you entered your main FTP account, it would be something like /public_html/the_directory_the_script_is_in. If you made a new FTP user that only has access to the directory the script is in, it would be /

Are you still getting that MySQL error?

When i open the FTP Browser
it shows like this chex.dreamhost.com <--- which is the Server Address
then there are subfolders forumzclub.com and in which i have kept the bb folder containing script

I'll have to look into that error and see if I can reproduce it. For the FTP path, try putting /forumzclub.com/the_folder_the_script_is_in/

Yup that is indeed a bug with one line in the install code. Please download the attached file and overwrite the old one. You should then be able to reinstall. I am updating the zip file as well to include this new file.

I suggest that there is some problem in your PC or net connection ,
the site works just fine and you are the one who is reporting errors in each download.

Hmm thats really weird how you are getting errors. I installed it a few times yesterday when I fixed the queries problem and it worked fine. Which zip file are you guys trying, the one I attached to this thread or the one at http://www.nbsdesignz.com/download.php?file=NBS_Multi-Forums_phpBB?

You just edit the phpBB files like you normally would, and instead of install queries thru phpmyadmin, you would put them in the install code file under the nbs directory and edit them so they are like the others (so they have the same prefix as the other tables for each user)

I made edits in phpbb files as you requested and then uploaded the files,

After you released changes in the files , i made change in install_queries



If you are making changes then shouldnt it be like beta 1.0.41 , .42 .........

Hello, you don't have free type 2 installed. Please ask your host to install this, after that is done, the verification image should work.

It is a really nice thing it be nice if more work future done many features I could think of that be sweet. I wanted run this for anarchy Online I want figure way one day intergrate the chat bots into it :)

As root, download and install FreeType:

Change directory to customapache and pico/nano configure.php...

cd /usr/local/directadmin/customapache pico -w configure.php


Add the following to configure.php:

Build PHP and you're done!

Sorry, I don't know anything about how it works on DirectAdmin, maybe someone on their support forums can tell you how to install it. I only know how to do it with WHM/cPanel.

before you totaly release it an idea having a admin aprovel section and maybe a extra box or button where yuou view that accounts to actualy approve new forum requests :)

know how some forums when people signup just for a forum account they can set it so admin has to aprove the account before its made. That be sort of a sweet idea for this.

Huhh??? almost every forum in the world has this feature for forums.. you can have it on or off just simple as a check box or radio box.

It is like an application you don't have to enable it but also a great idea for others and for many reasons.

Download the latest files

Now delete your previous MySQL Database and create new one.

Delete all your previous files and then upload new files.


Those errors were in previous copies of nbsdesignz multi forum phpbb

The images folder should have came with phpBB. Please make sure you uploaded the phpBB files as well.

Try looking on www.clickherefree.com (http://www.clickherefree.com), it's an online directory of hosts that offer free web hosting. Just select one with cPanel and it should have mod_rewrite support.
